Maison Atelier Documentation

Maison Atelier Documentation (MADC) is an independent design-documentation practice and digital platform. We develop technical drawing packages, documentation systems and selected advisory services for interior projects.

Our work begins when a design needs to become clear enough to be checked, priced, coordinated and built. We organise design intent into drawings, dimensions, material and hardware references, installation information and controlled document records. Each package identifies its scope, the matters that must be verified on site, and the point at which responsibility passes to the appointed contractor or licensed professional.

MADC products provide clients, designers, contractors and fabricators with a practical documentation base. They do not replace local professional approval, site measurement or statutory compliance.

Our Purpose

MADC was established to make professional design information easier to access, understand and execute across different projects and locations.

We believe a drawing should do more than present an idea. It should help the people involved understand what is intended, what must be checked, how decisions are recorded and where each party's responsibility begins.

Our long-term aim is to develop a global digital documentation platform through which well-structured design knowledge can travel across borders without losing its technical clarity.

MADC Lab

MADC Lab is the documentation and product-development function of Maison Atelier Documentation. It develops repeatable drawing systems for common interior conditions, including cabinetry, built-in components and renovation coordination.

Our drawing presentation and document-control methods are developed with reference to selected ISO technical-drawing conventions where relevant. MADC is not an ISO-certified organisation, and these references are not presented as third-party certification or universal compliance with local construction requirements.

Research & Development

MADC R&D maintains the underlying drawing logic: modular controls, document structures, specifications, revision methods and product research. Where a component is specified, we aim to identify a practical manufacturer reference or part number rather than leave a critical selection undefined.

Controlled digital and AI-assisted tools may be used to support research, consistency checks and record management. These tools do not replace professional judgment, source verification or site verification.

Production

Production turns this framework into issued drawing packages, reports and supporting documents. Each release is treated as a controlled document with an identifiable document or drawing number, revision, issue date and stated scope.

This allows the people using the material to identify the version they have, understand what it covers and recognise what still requires project-specific or local confirmation.

Led by Rayloh

MADC is led by Rayloh, Lead Consultant, with nearly two decades of professional interior-design experience and more than 23 years of continuous AutoCAD drafting practice.

Trained at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, his career developed through design practices in Singapore—including Antonio Eraso Co., 2nd Edition and WOW Architects—followed by senior design and construction-delivery work in Malaysia. His experience covers concept development, technical documentation, design coordination and the practical resolution of site conditions.

MADC grows from that working experience: translating design intent into information that clients, contractors and fabricators can understand, verify and execute.

Rather than asking clients to rely on titles or claims alone, MADC invites them to examine the drawing structure, document controls, specification logic and stated boundaries of each package.
