MADC SYSTEM™

OVERVIEW

MADC system™ is the working structure behind Maison Atelier Documentation products. It connects research, technical drawings, specifications, project forms and document records so that design information can be understood and used by the people involved in a project.

The purpose is not to promise that a project will never change or that disagreement will never occur. It is to reduce avoidable uncertainty: what was specified, what must be checked, who needs to acknowledge it, what may trigger a risk, and what evidence should be retained when a decision is made.

MADC system™ is organised around three principles :

• Product Philosophy — every product should solve a defined documentation problem.
• Documentation Standard — every issued document should have a clear identity, scope and revision status.
• Source Integrity — factual claims and technical references should be traceable to their sources.
